Distraxion is a film by Mike Stern, who probably didn’t have to listen to the boss’ favorite music while creating this. Still, you know he’s been through it at one time or another!

A 3D animated short film about waking up. Enjoy!

Look at this nifty little stop animation of a guy working furiously to get somewhere. It’s called “Sorry I’m Late” by Thomas Mankovsky.  They used the floor of an auditorium (or maybe a church?) to make it appear that the hapless chap was walking across a wide range of obstacles.  You can find the “making of” here!

Produced by Christopher Hendryx as his thesis for the department of Computer Animation at the Ringling College of Art + Design, Oxygen is a really cool 3D animated short featuring Oxygen as our main hero, with various other elements thrown in as supporting characters.

A short film about a undercover cop and a waitress…

This award-winning short film about time travel is about as weird as it gets, which is what any time-travel story should be. Wonderfully written and directed by A.J. Bond, produced and shot by Amy Belling.

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you much about this short film because there’s almost no details around. The only thing I know is that, just like Escape From City 17, this is another amateur-made half-life 2 inspired flick that looks pretty darn promising. Enjoy!

Entirely shot on a RED camera for a USC graduate thesis, Turbo is a high-adrenaline 20-minute short featuring Hugo Park (Justin Chon, Twilight), a misspent youth whose only outlet for angst is a 4D fighting video game called “Super Turbo Arena”. Check out the official trailer below.
